By: Nasir Gide The draws for the inaugural Chief of Defense Staff General Christopher Gwabin Musa Peace and Unity Football Competition have taken place in Katsina, marking a significant milestone in the preparations for the tournament. According to the competition coordinator, Mal Lawal Ibrahim BK, all arrangements are in place for a successful event. The football tournament, designed to foster peace and unity among youths in Katsina State, is held in honor of the Chief of Defense Staff General Christopher Gwabin Musa, who championed peaceful coexistence across the nation and in Katsina State. The knockout tournament features 32 teams that registered free of charge. The first 16 teams eliminated in the round of 16 will receive a pair of footballs, while the remaining 16 teams will get sets of jerseys.
