In a bid to revitalize the fortunes of the Nigeria national team, football stakeholders are urging the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to consider Usman Abdallah as the next head coach. With his vast coaching experience and technical know-how, garnered from stints in Europe and Africa, Abdallah is poised to be the solution to the country's long-standing coaching problem.
Born in Kano State, Nigeria, Abdallah's playing career spanned Africa, Asia, and Europe, featuring for top clubs like Sanka Vipers, UNTL, and Bayer Leverkusen. He later transitioned into coaching, holding various roles in France, Asia, and Nigeria, including assistant coach at Kano Pillars and head coach at Enyimba International FC, where he led the team to the CAF Confederations Cup semi-finals and won the Nigerian Professional Football League title in 2018/19.
Abdallah's impressive credentials include UEFA B and A Licenses, degrees in football coaching and team management, and certifications from CAF, Australia, and LaLiga. He has also served as third assistant coach of the Super Eagles, Nigeria's national team.
With his wealth of experience and technical expertise, Usman Abdallah is the ideal candidate to lead Nigeria's national team to success, surpassing the need for a foreign coach. His appointment would be a testament to the country's ability to produce top-class coaches, and his dual citizenship with France would bring a unique perspective to the role.
As the search for a new head coach continues, Nigerian football fans and stakeholders alike are urging the NFF to consider Usman Abdallah, a homegrown talent with the potential to revolutionize the national team's fortunes.
