Kano State Governor Pledges Support to Kano Pillars FC

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has expressed his appreciation for the outstanding performance of Kano Pillars FC in the recently concluded President Federation Cup, where they reached the semifinals. In a press statement signed by Media Officer KPFC Sharif Zahraddeen Usman Kofar Nassarawa, it was revealed that the Governor commended the club's efforts during a courtesy visit from the team's management and players.

During the meeting at the Government House in Kano, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf assured the delegation of his commitment to addressing the challenges faced by the Sai Masu Gida Club. He promised to provide new vehicles for the technical crew and players, as well as ensure prompt payment of match bonuses and allowances to motivate the team for better performance.

Furthermore, the Governor highlighted the administration's dedication to creating more job opportunities for youths, particularly through sports, considering that sixty percent of Kano state's population comprises youths. The appointment of a Youth Commissioner of Sports in his cabinet reflects the government's focus on improving the livelihoods of young people in the state.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf also pledged additional rewards to the Kano Pillars FC players and technical crew if they were to triumph in the upcoming 2024 FA Cup. The Commissioner of Sports, Hon. Mustapha Rabi'u Kwankwaso, and the Chairman of the Kano Pillars Management Board, Alhaji Babangida Umar Little, expressed gratitude to the Governor for his unwavering support of the team throughout their matches.

Team Captain, Legend Rabi'u Ali Pele, speaking on behalf of the Sai Masu Gida Players, thanked the Governor for his audience and his commitment to addressing their concerns. Additionally, Technical Adviser Coach Ahmed Garba Yaro Yaro promised increased dedication from the technical crew and players to bring more accolades to Kano in the sport of football.

The assurance of the Governor's support has generated optimism and excitement among the Kano Pillars FC and its fans, as they gear up for upcoming competitions with renewed energy and determination.

FASTE Emerges Overall Winner of ADUSTECH 12th Inter-Faculties Sports Competition

Kano Pillars FC Announces Blockbuster Partnership with RFI Hausa

By Muzammil Dalha Yola Kano Pillars Football Club, one of Nigeria's most storied football institutions, is proud to announce a landmark partnership with Radio France Internationale (RFI) Hausa, a leading international news media organization. This is a partnership deal worth N100m, a kit sponsorship deal for one season. Under the deal, the club will receive N45m in cash and a season's worth of jerseys, whereby each player will wear a new set in every game, which will allow him to give it away after matches.
