By Muzammil Dalha Yola The Nigerian School Sports Federation (NSSF) has announced a series of sporting activities for secondary schools across the country, aimed at developing and improving students' skills. According to NSSF President Olabisi Joseph, invited schools from the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, will converge in Lagos for swimming and chess championships, starting from February 10. The swimming championship will take place at the National Stadium swimming pool in Surulere, Lagos, from February 13-14, 2025, with students competing in under-18 and 15 boys and girls categories. The chess competition, on the other hand, will be held at the Universal Basic Education Board Hall in Maryland, Lagos, from February 10-11, 2025, with students from under-9, 12, 15, and 18 categories participating.
