Rabiu Ali's Incredible Season Continues: Veteran Midfielder Makes History with Kano Pillars

In a remarkable display of skill and dedication, Rabiu Ali's goal for Kano Pillars 1-1 drew against Plateau Utd in MD 37solidified his position as the midfielder with the most goal contributions this season. The NPFL legend's impressive stats speak for themselves: 10 goals, 6 assists, and a total of 16 massive goal contributions.

Ali's achievement is all the more remarkable considering he is the only NPFL player to score in 14 consecutive seasons, reaching double figures in 7 of them. He is also the only active NPFL player to win three NPFL titles in a row, with a total of 4 NPFL titles to his name.

Despite his advanced age, Ali continues to defy expectations, earning him the nickname "The Man. The Maestro. The Legend." His incredible form has left fans and critics alike in awe, cementing his status as one of the greatest players in NPFL history.

Gusau/Ahalan 2024 Preseason Cup Kick-Off Date Rescheduled

The new kick-off date is now set for August 20th, instead of the initially announced August 13th. According to the tournament coordinator, Alhaji Abahurarai Dahiru, the decision to reschedule was made after consultations with stakeholders, who agreed that the recent "End of Bad Government" protests in some parts of the country warranted a postponement. The venue for the tournament remains the New Stadium, Zaria Road, Jos, in Plateau State. Sixteen football teams from the NPFL and NNL have confirmed their participation, and are expected to arrive in Jos on August 19th.
