Kano Pillars FC Announces Two-Week Recess, Invites Applications for Technical Adviser Position

Kano Pillars FC has announced a two-week break for its players and technical crew after the successful completion of the 2023/2024 premier league season. The team finished in eleventh position with 52 points after playing thirty-eight matches.

According to the press statement signed by Media Officer Shariff Zaharaddeen stated that the Executive Chairman, Alhaji Babangida Umar Little said, the break is to enable the players and technical crew to relax and prepare for upcoming engagements. He also announced that only players and technical crew members who receive calls will be reabsorbed into the team for the 2024/25 soccer season.

Furthermore, the Executive Chairman has invited interested individuals to apply for the vacant position of Technical Adviser of the team. Applicants are required to forward their applications to the team's office within one week.

Alhaji Babangida Umar Little expressed appreciation for the support of the Kano State Governor, Alh Abba Kabir Yusuf, and the Commissioner of Sports, Hon Mustapha Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso, during the league campaign. He also lauded the Fans Club for their unwavering support and promised that the team will work hard to win the league next season.

 The A.g T. A Coach Ahmed Garba Yaro, commended the leadership for the opportunity to manage the team and praised the players for their commitment and dedication. He also thanked the fans for their support, hoping for a successful season ahead.
