Kano State Football Association Honours Bello Ibrahim Bello with Award of Excellence

The Kano State Football Association (KSFA) has honoured Bello Ibrahim Bello, President of Polybags FC Kano, with the Award of Excellence as the Best Sponsor of KSFA activities in the 2023/24 season. The award was presented at the KSFA Awards Night held at Meena Event Centre, Lodge Road, Kano State on Saturday, 22nd June 2024.

Bello Ibrahim Bello was recognized for his outstanding contributions to the development of football in Kano State, particularly his support for the KSFA initiatives and programs. His sponsorship has enabled the association to organize successful tournaments and events, promoting football talent and growth in the state.

The KSFA Chairman, Dr. Shariff Rabiu Ahalan, praised Bello Ibrahim Bello for his dedication and commitment to football development in Kano State. "Bello Ibrahim Bello has been a pillar of support for our association, and his contributions have made a significant impact on the growth of football in the state," Ahalan said.

Bello Ibrahim Bello expressed his gratitude to the KSFA for the recognition, stating, "I am honoured to receive this award, and I am proud to be part of the football family in Kano State. I will continue to support the development of football in the state and Nigeria at large."

The awards night also saw other individuals and teams recognized for their achievements in the 2023/24 season. The event was attended by NFF President Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, NFF Executive members, State FA Chairmen, football stakeholders, players, and coaches from across the state and country.

With this award, Bello Ibrahim Bello has cemented his position as a key supporter of football development in Kano State, and his contributions will continue to inspire and motivate others to follow in his footsteps.

FASTE Emerges Overall Winner of ADUSTECH 12th Inter-Faculties Sports Competition

By Muzammil Dalha Yola The 12th edition of the Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil (ADUSTECH) Inter-Faculties Sports Competition came to a close on Thursday, August 7, 2025, with a thrilling football final between the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Science and Technology Education (FASTE) at the University's football pitch. Kano Pillars FC Announces Blockbuster Partnership with RFI Hausa

By Muzammil Dalha Yola Kano Pillars Football Club, one of Nigeria's most storied football institutions, is proud to announce a landmark partnership with Radio France Internationale (RFI) Hausa, a leading international news media organization. This is a partnership deal worth N100m, a kit sponsorship deal for one season. Under the deal, the club will receive N45m in cash and a season's worth of jerseys, whereby each player will wear a new set in every game, which will allow him to give it away after matches.
