By Muzammil Dalha Yola ‎Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil, is set to host the 7th edition of its Inter-Union Sports Competition, tagged the VC Unity Cup 2026, in a renewed push to strengthen staff cohesion and promote healthy living across campus. ‎ ‎The competition will bring together four staff unions of the university: the Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities (NASU), the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), and the National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT). The recognition ceremony was announced in a press statement signed by the University Information and Public Relations Unit Officer, Baffa A. Hamdullahi. ‎The award of honour was presented to the Vice-Chancellor in appreciation of his immense support for the development of sports in the university since he assumed office.
