By Ado Salisu The leadership of the Nigerian School Sports Federation (NSSF) has been commended for its laudable programmes aimed at promoting and developing various sporting activities across the country. The Director/Principal of Government Girls College (GGC) Dala Kano, Hajia Hauwa Nuhu Wali, made the commendation while receiving executive members of the NSSF led by its President, Mrs. Olabisi Joseph, who paid her a courtesy visit in her office in Kano. The visit was part of the activities lined up for a workshop organized by the NSSF in collaboration with the Nigerian Olympic Committee (NOC), with support from Olympic Solidarity. According to the Principal, the Federation’s leadership deserves commendation for organizing various sporting events at both state and federal government levels despite the financial constraints facing the NSSF.
