‎ADUSTECH Kicks Off 7th Inter-Union Sports Competition as VC Unity Cup Returns May 18

By Muzammil Dalha Yola ‎Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil, is set to host the 7th edition of its Inter-Union Sports Competition, tagged the VC Unity Cup 2026, in a renewed push to strengthen staff cohesion and promote healthy living across campus. ‎ ‎The competition will bring together four staff unions of the university: the Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities (NASU), the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), and the National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT). ‎ADUSTECH Wudil Honours VC Yakasai for Transforming University Sports

By Muzammil Dalha Yola ‎ ‎The Vice-Chancellor of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUST), Wudil, Professor Musa Tukur Yakasai, was honoured by the university’s Directorate of Sports on thursday 14th May 2026 in his office. The recognition ceremony was announced in a press statement signed by the University Information and Public Relations Unit Officer, Baffa A. Hamdullahi. ‎The award of honour was presented to the Vice-Chancellor in appreciation of his immense support for the development of sports in the university since he assumed office. ‎NSSF, NOC Empower PHE Teachers in Kano with Olympic Values Training

‎By Ado Salisu and Muzammil Dalha Yola ‎The Nigeria School Sport Federation (NSSF), in partnership with the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC), has launched a three-day capacity-building programme for Physical and Health Education (PHE) teachers in Kano State, reinforcing a nationwide drive to strengthen grassroots sports development. ‎ ‎Sponsored by Olympic Solidarity, the training follows successful editions in Ogun and Plateau States. ‎GGC Dala Principal Lauds NSSF for Sports Development Efforts
