Nasarawa Utd Part Ways With Kabir Dogo, Appoint Salisu Yusuf As Replacement

Nasarawa United FC have announced the mutual termination of Technical Director Kabir Dogo's contract, effective immediately. In a press statement signed by the club Director Media Eche Amos ( Fellow, CBS) on sunday 16th February 2025 stated that, the decision follows a thorough review of the club's performance in the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League Season, which has fallen short of expectations.

Despite the efforts of the coaching staff and players, results have not improved to the required level, prompting the club to make a change. Nasarawa United FC expressed gratitude to Coach Kabir Dogo for his commitment and hard work during his tenure.

Coach Dogo, in his response, appreciated the management and staff of the club for the opportunity to manage the Solid Miners. He extended his heartfelt gratitude to the players, supporters, and fans, wishing the team all the best in their future endeavors.

To address the club's precarious situation, Nasarawa United FC have appointed Salisu Yusuf, a former Chief Coach of the Super Eagles, as the new replacement for Coach Kabir Dogo. Yusuf, a CAF 'A' licensed coach, boasts an impressive coaching CV, having worked with both club and national teams in Nigeria.

The club expressed confidence that Yusuf's appointment will help turn around the team's fortunes in the remaining part of the league campaign. Nasarawa United FC assured their supporters and fans that they are committed to improving performance and competing at the highest level of club football in the country.
