Kano Pillars FC Chief Coach, Ahmed Garba Yaro Yaro, has described Abia Warriors as a formidable opponent, praising their quality and impressive form ahead of their crucial clash on Saturday.

Speaking to the Media & Communications Directorate of the club, Yaro Yaro acknowledged the challenge posed by Abia Warriors, who are under the tutelage of Imama Amapakabo. "Facing Abia Warriors, considering their rich vein of form and with Imama as coach, is a tough task not just for us but for any team in the league," he stated.

Despite the daunting task, Yaro Yaro remains optimistic that Kano Pillars will secure maximum points, building on their 2-1 victory over El-Kanemi Warriors in their outstanding Matchday 20 fixture on Wednesday. However, Kano Pillars will be without key players Ahmed Musa, Bright Emmanuel, Sudais Ali Baba, and Mustapha Salisu, who are sidelined due to injury.

The match is a crucial one for both teams, with Kano Pillars currently sitting 9th on the league table with 32 points from 23 matches, while Abia Warriors occupy 4th place with 36 points. The reverse fixture ended 2-0 in favour of Abia Warriors.
