‎The Sabon Gari Football Management has warned organisers not to encroach on another organiser's time, citing past instances where this has happened. The chairman, Sir Michael Anike, stated that any defaulter will be fined and sanctioned by the Kano State Football Association, of which Sabon Gari Football Management is an affiliate body.

‎Sir Michael urged all football organisers to abide by the calendar and rules and regulations guiding Sabon Gari football management. He emphasized that the management's motto is "FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT", and that the Ahlan Youth Football League is designed to discover and nurture young talented footballers.

‎The Ahlan Youth Football League is open to players aged 18-23 years and will kick off on Friday, 3rd April 2026, at Government Commercial Secondary School, Abeokuta Road, by Ibo Road. Football stakeholders and fans are invited to witness the opening ceremony between Denmark Academy team and Delight Academy team.

‎The league will be handled by a seasoned technical team, including Nicholas Ozoeme, Akinjide Murtala, Ayo Sunday, and Afam OkeChukwu. The Sabon Gari Football Management is committed to promoting football development in the region and looks forward to a successful 2026 football season.
