Mahanaim FC Star Aliyu Imran Joins SK Prostejov in Czech Republic

Mahanaim FC has announced the transfer of striker Aliyu Imran to Czech Republic club SK Prostejov. Imran, 19, has signed a 3-year contract with the Czech second division club after an impressive familiarization period.

The 1.96m, Kaduna-born goal poacher is a thoroughbred Mahanaim product whose ability to learn and understudy senior players of the club became a major asset. His unique fighting spirit, pace, power, intelligence, and goal-scoring prowess attracted SK Prostejov to him during Mahanaim FC's 2024 annual scouting event in Abuja. He further proved himself as a great ambassador of the club during his familiarization period in the Czech Republic.

Imran expressed his excitement about completing his transfer to SK Prostejov from Mahanaim FC as a dream come true. "This is a dream come true for me. I can't describe how I feel. I thank everyone who has contributed to my development to this stage, most especially our Sport Director, who is like a father figure to me," he said. "I thank all my coaches, staff, and teammates at Mahanaim FC. I'm very happy in SK Prostejov, and I thank everyone here for how they've received me and helped me since I got here. It's a wonderful club."

The Director of Media at Mahanaim FC, Mr. Olaoluwa Aro, spoke highly of Imran. "Imran is a good kid. Very resilient, patient, and responsible. We are all very happy about this transfer. On behalf of everyone in this club, I wish him all the best of luck in his professional career," Olaoluwa enthused.

Aliyu Imran had a scoring ratio of 1.3 goals per game during his time in the senior team of Mahanaim FC.

NUGA Council Fixes Date for Zone E Preliminaries

Kano Pillars FC Announces Blockbuster Partnership with RFI Hausa
