Kano Governor Appoints New Board for Pillars FC, Names Ahmed Musa GM, Malikawa Member

The Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has approved the appointment of a new management board for Kano Pillars Football Club as part of efforts to strengthen the team ahead of the upcoming Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The newly appointed board, which includes 17 members, will be led by Ali Muhammad Umar (Nayara) as Chairman. Other notable members include Salisu Mohammed Kosawa, Yusuf Danladi Andy Cole, and Idris Malikawa Garu, among others.

Also the Governor approved the Rabiu Abdullahi as Member, Aminu Ma’alesh – Member, Safiyanu Abdu – Member, Abubakar Isah Dandago Yamalash – Media Director I, Ismail Abba Tangalash – Media Director II.

In a strategic move, the board has proposed the appointment of renowned international footballer Ahmed Musa as the new General Manager of Kano Pillars FC. This move is expected to leverage Musa's wealth of experience and leadership to reposition the club as a formidable contender in the league.

The governor's spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, revealed that the appointments follow several consultative meetings with key stakeholders, aimed at boosting the team's performance. The government expressed confidence that the reconstituted board will consolidate on the team's achievements and deliver improved results in the forthcoming season.

The new management board will build on the progress made by the previous board, which successfully led the team to finish 9th on the NPFL table. With Ahmed Musa at the helm, Kano Pillars FC is expected to make a strong impact in the upcoming season.

The appointments are seen as a bold move by the Kano State Government to revitalize the team and bring glory to the state. Fans and stakeholders are eagerly awaiting the team's performance in the upcoming season.

Kano Pillars FC Announces Blockbuster Partnership with RFI Hausa

By Muzammil Dalha Yola Kano Pillars Football Club, one of Nigeria's most storied football institutions, is proud to announce a landmark partnership with Radio France Internationale (RFI) Hausa, a leading international news media organization. This is a partnership deal worth N100m, a kit sponsorship deal for one season. Under the deal, the club will receive N45m in cash and a season's worth of jerseys, whereby each player will wear a new set in every game, which will allow him to give it away after matches.
