Ahmed Musa Unveils Ambitious Plans To Reposition Kano Pillars FC

In a press conference held at the Sani Abacha Conference Room on thursday 10th July 2025, General Manager of Kano Pillars FC, Ambassador Ahmed Musa MON, OON, outlined his vision to reposition the club to meet global standards. With a determined tone, Musa emphasized that the task ahead would be challenging, but not impossible, with the support of all stakeholders.

Musa revealed that the management's plans include reviving the team's glory and working closely with relevant stakeholders to achieve success. He appealed to the people of Kano State to provide the necessary support and cooperation for the club's success in the forthcoming season.

The General Manager expressed gratitude to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for appointing him to run the affairs of the team, promising that the management will return the glory days of Sai masu Gida  and by God's grace, we would not disappoint him," Musa declared.

Musa emphasized that player welfare would be a top priority, as the success of the club depends on them. "Players are the actors and ambassadors of the club," he said. He also stressed the importance of discipline on and off the pitch, warning that the management would not condone any acts of indiscipline from all quarters.

The General Manager highlighted the significance of the Coach's role, stating that he would be fully supported in all technical aspects. "I'm only the GM in the office, but the Coach is our leader on the pitch and in all technical aspects," Musa explained.

To meet global standards, Musa announced that new ideas and innovations would be introduced in the club. He thanked the teeming fans of the club for their dedication and passion, promising that the management would continue to carry them along.

Musa urged the Kano Pillars FC family to remain focused and continue praying for the team's success. He welcomed investors, sponsors, partners, and anyone willing to contribute to the club's growth, assuring that the management's doors would remain open.

In his closing remarks, Musa thanked the media for attending the press conference despite the short notice. He ended with a resounding message: "Long live Kano Pillars Football Club, Long live Kano State, and Long live Nigeria."

The press conference was a testament to Musa's determination to revive the team's glory and make Kano Pillars FC a force to be reckoned with in Nigerian football. With the support of all stakeholders, the team is poised to achieve great things in the forthcoming season.

NUGA Council Fixes Date for Zone E Preliminaries

Kano Pillars FC Announces Blockbuster Partnership with RFI Hausa

By Muzammil Dalha Yola Kano Pillars Football Club, one of Nigeria's most storied football institutions, is proud to announce a landmark partnership with Radio France Internationale (RFI) Hausa, a leading international news media organization. This is a partnership deal worth N100m, a kit sponsorship deal for one season. Under the deal, the club will receive N45m in cash and a season's worth of jerseys, whereby each player will wear a new set in every game, which will allow him to give it away after matches. RFI will also train the club's media team as well as publicize all the club's activities.  This sponsorship is the first of its kind by the organisation.
