The Kano Lawyers' League has reached its pinnacle, with the finalists of the inaugural edition, tagged "The Governor's Cup", being announced. In an official statement signed by the Chairman Kano Lawyers' League Hon. Umar Shehu, Esq. the Organizing Committee heartily congratulates the two remarkable teams that have emerged as finalists: A. A. Gadanya & Co and Kurawa, Husseini & Associates. Their dedication, teamwork, and resilience throughout the tournament have been truly exceptional.

The finalists have made their firms proud and inspired many within the legal cycle. The Organizing Committee also acknowledges the participation of other teams, including the Attorney General's Chamber, I.G Waru & Co, Ibrahim Mukhtar & Co, and others, whose commitment and sportsmanship defined the success of this first edition.

The Solicitor-General of Kano State is thanked for gracing the Opening Ceremony with his presence and support, setting a tone of excellence and institutional pride. The leadership of NBA Kano and NBA Ungogo Branches is also appreciated for their continued encouragement and support throughout the league.

The Grand Finale of the 1st Edition of the Kano Lawyers' League "The Governor's Cup" is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 2nd August, 2025, at 4:00 pm at the Aztec Arena Sports Complex, Ibrahim Dabo Road, beside Dangi Flyover, Kano State. The final match will pit Kurawa, Husseini & Associates against A. A. Gadanya & Co in an exciting encounter.

All legal minds, friends of the Bar, sports lovers, and the general public are invited to join in celebrating this milestone event, which promotes unity, friendship, and wellness among legal practitioners in Kano State. The event is a culmination of the successful inaugural edition of the Kano Lawyers' League, themed "One Team, One Profession".
