Farewell to Elkanemi Warriors FC: Coach Aliyu Zubairu Bids Adieu

In a heartfelt farewell message, Coach Aliyu Zubairu announced his decision not to renew his contract with Elkanemi Warriors FC of Maiduguri after two remarkable years with the club. The coach expressed his gratitude to the management, staff, players, and fans for their unwavering support during his tenure.

During his time with the club, Coach Zubairu achieved significant milestones, including promoting the team to the elite league and winning the President Federation Cup (FA Cup). He credited the successes to the hard work of the technical crew, talented players, and supportive management.

Coach Zubairu extended his appreciation to key stakeholders, including Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State, for his unwavering support. He also thanked the Borno State Commissioner for Sports, Honourable Saina Buba, and the Chairman of the Borno State Football Association, Alhaji Babagana Kalli, for their invaluable contributions.

While leaving Elkanemi Warriors FC, Coach Zubairu emphasized that this decision does not mark the end of his relationship with the club. He views it as a new chapter in his journey, with Borno State remaining a home dear to his heart.

The coach expressed his eternal gratitude to the fans, whose support reaffirmed his belief in the importance of fans in football. He described the experience of working with the Elkanemi Warriors family as incredible and memorable.

FASTE Emerges Overall Winner of ADUSTECH 12th Inter-Faculties Sports Competition

Kano Pillars FC Announces Blockbuster Partnership with RFI Hausa

By Muzammil Dalha Yola Kano Pillars Football Club, one of Nigeria's most storied football institutions, is proud to announce a landmark partnership with Radio France Internationale (RFI) Hausa, a leading international news media organization. This is a partnership deal worth N100m, a kit sponsorship deal for one season. Under the deal, the club will receive N45m in cash and a season's worth of jerseys, whereby each player will wear a new set in every game, which will allow him to give it away after matches.
