Clever Warriors FC Prepares for NYML/NLO Promotion Play-Off

The Proprietor and CEO of Clever Warriors FC, Kano, Dr. Najib Sabo Kurawa, addressed the press recently, outlining the team's preparations for the upcoming NYML/NLO promotion play-off to the Nigeria National League (NNL). The play-offs are scheduled to kick off on June 19th in Gumel, Jigawa State.

Dr. Kurawa emphasized that the team's focus is on mental and physical preparation for the challenge ahead. A friendly match was highlighted as a key part of this preparation, benefiting both Clever Warriors FC and their opponents, Barau FC, who are also preparing for the NNL promotion play-off to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

The CEO expressed gratitude for the opportunity to represent Kano State and revealed that the team has reinforced some positions. He noted that the NLO has granted teams five licenses to substitute injured players, allowing coaches to test new talents. However, Dr. Kurawa chose not to disclose the identities of the new players to maintain a competitive edge.

Dr. Kurawa acknowledged the challenging nature of the play-offs, emphasizing that all remaining teams are champions of their respective centers. He specifically mentioned Discovery FC Sokoto, Junior Danburan Daura, and Ambassadors FC Kano State as formidable opponents.

Despite the tough competition, Dr. Kurawa expressed confidence in his team's abilities. He highlighted the team's experience from previous seasons and their high spirits, urging the players to maintain their determination to achieve their target.

The CEO appealed for continued support from fans and the Kano State community. He expressed appreciation for the existing support while emphasizing the need for more backing to help the team succeed in their quest for promotion.

Dr. Kurawa set a clear target for the team: qualification to the NNL. He expressed optimism about achieving this goal and hinted at another press briefing to celebrate the team's success if they qualify.

With determination and the right support, Clever Warriors FC is poised to make a strong impression in the NYML/NLO promotion play-off. The team's journey will undoubtedly captivate football fans in Kano State and beyond.

Kano Pillars FC Announces Blockbuster Partnership with RFI Hausa
