Wikki Tourist FC Coach Abdul Maikaba beamed with pride in the post-match press conference after his team's superb performance in the Gusau/Ahlan Cup 2024, finishing with a 100% record as group winners.

The team won all three matches, scoring 5 goals and conceding none, with three different players earning Man of the Match awards. Maikaba attributed this success to the collective effort of his players, stating, "Everyone is putting in their best to help the team... all players have played a part, and I'm impressed with both the attacking and defensive departments."

Maikaba expressed his desire for the team to build on this momentum in the knockout stage and the upcoming NNL season, where promotion to the NPFL is the ultimate goal. He acknowledged the expectations of the fans and the people of Bauchi State, saying, "We're working hard to make them proud."

The coach also commended the organizers of the Gusau/Ahlan Cup 2024, saying, "I'm happy with the organization of this tournament... it's been a great experience for my team."
