In a move aimed at strengthening their technical bench, Tudun Wada FC of Kano has unveiled Coach Abubakar Mohammed Zagalo as the club's new Technical Adviser.
The appointment, which was announced by the Sarki Tudun Wada, Ibrahim Muhammad Aliyu, was made based on merit, considering Zagalo's vast experience in the football industry.
Zagalo, a former assistant coach at Elkanemi Warriors, will work alongside Coach Anas Muhammad, Baban Aiki, and Habu Dabo, with responsibility for the overall management and strategic direction of the club's football operations.
As Technical Adviser, Zagalo will oversee player recruitment, coach development, performance analysis, sports science, and strategic planning.
Expressing his gratitude, Zagalo said, "I'm glad and honoured to be part of this team. Thank you for thinking of me to work with you and for this opportunity to collaborate."
Tudun Wada FC, the defending champions of the Nationwide League One Cup, is expected to benefit from Zagalo's expertise as they aim to build on their success in the upcoming season.
