The match, played under the leadership of Kaduna United's chairman Alhaji Sabo Babyaro and then-commissioner of sports Abdulaziz Mohammad, is still remembered as one of the greatest moments in Kaduna state's football history.
Bola Bello scored twice (28' pen, 40') and Siman Yusuf added a third (35') for Kaduna United, while Magnus Iwouha (37' pen), Valentine Nwabili (45'), and Atanda Sakibu (52') scored for Enyimba.
This victory remains a highlight in the careers of two esteemed football administrators, Alhaji Sabo Babyaro and the late Abdulaziz Mohammad, who played a significant role in shaping Kaduna United's success.
As we take a walk down memory lane, we celebrate this achievement and honour the contributions of these dedicated individuals to Nigerian football.
