Kano Pillars Football Club has departed Kano with a strong contingent of 40 players to participate in the 3rd edition of the Gusau/Ahlan Preseason Tournament in Jos, Plateau State. This was revealed in a press statement signed by the club Media and Communications Directorate.
The prestigious tournament, which serves as a key preparatory event ahead of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, has drawn top teams from across the country. Kano Pillars FC has been placed in Group C, where they will face Discovery Talent Academy, Mighty Jets FC, and Lobi Stars.
Under the guidance of newly appointed Technical Adviser, Coach Usman Abdallah, the team aims to use this tournament to fine-tune their strategies and assess player readiness ahead of the 2024/25 NPFL season.
The entire Kano Pillars FC family is focused on making a strong impression at the tournament, which provides an excellent platform to prepare for the upcoming season, foster team chemistry, and build momentum.
