The Katsina State Sports Commissioner, Aliyu Lawal Shargalle, has declared open a one-week comprehensive computer training program for players of the Katsina Football Academy.
Commissioner Shargalle charged the players to take advantage of the opportunity to become productive members of society, emphasizing the importance of computer literacy in today's world.
The program, designed to educate the players on computer usage, will train 60 academy players in batches. The training covers computer basics, software applications, internet, and email, as well as project work and review.
The players are undergoing the training at the academy's premises, facilitated by Code Collective development company. The program coordinator, Ahmed Shuaibu, stated that the training aims to equip the players with essential computer skills, enhancing their overall development.
The Katsina State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the academy, ensuring the players receive necessary resources to achieve their goals.
