Kano Pillars' New Management Board Makes Waves With A Promising Start

By Muhammad Yasin Adamu

The first week of Kano Pillars' new management board has been nothing short of remarkable, making it feel like they've spent a year in the driving seat. Firstly, I'd like to appreciate the effort of Kano State Governor, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, for appointing a capable team to lead Kano Pillars to the next level.

Secondly, I salute the Kano Pillars Chairman, Ali Muhammad (popularly known as Ali Nayarah Mai Samba), and his entire management board. Under his leadership, they've made a significant impact by appointing Usman Abdallah to lead the club to its former glory days. Usman Abdallah is a high-profile coach with the experience to take Kano Pillars to new heights in Nigerian and African football.

Thirdly, I commend the media sector of the new management, led by Media Director Abubakar Isa Dandago and Deputy Media Director Isma'il Abba Tangalashi. Their efforts have made a huge impact, developing the Kano Pillars X account to 14.8k followers, restoring the official Facebook account, and creating new Instagram handles. As the Hausa proverb goes, "an ajiye kwarya a gurbinta" (you've started well, but there's still much work to be done).

However, the media team has a huge task ahead, as Kano Pillars is currently ranked 16th in the list of most followed football clubs on social media in the Nigerian Premier Football League.
