Barau FC Appoints Salisu Yusuf As Technical Adviser, Sets Sights On NPFL Promotion

In a significant move, Barau FC Kano has signed and unveiled former Super Eagles Assistant Coach, Salisu Yusuf, as their new Technical Adviser on a one-year deal with an option for another year.

Chairman of Barau FC, Ibrahim Shitu (Chanji), expressed his excitement about the appointment, stating that it's a milestone step for the club to bring in an expert with Salisu Yusuf's experience to lead the team to the elite league, NPFL, which is their ultimate goal and ambition.

Coach Salisu Yusuf, in his remarks, thanked the club for finding him worthy of the challenging task and appealed for maximum support from the players and management to achieve success.

Barau FC, who gained promotion to the NNL from the NLO last season, will participate in the Gusau/Ahlan Cup 2024 in Jos, where they face Plateau United in the opening match on Tuesday, August 20th, 2024.

With Coach Salisu Yusuf at the helm, Barau FC is poised to make a strong push for NPFL promotion and become a force to be reckoned with in Nigerian football.
