Kano Pillars FC's prolific forward, Auwalu Ali Malam, has set his sights on a stellar 2024/25 NPFL season after a brilliant performance in the Gusau/Ahlan Pre-Season Tournament.

Auwalu, who finished among the top scorers in the 2019/2020 season, scored twice against Discovery Academy, securing Kano Pillars' first victory in the tournament.

In a post-match interview with club Media and Communications Directorate, Auwalu expressed his commitment to delivering even more firepower in the upcoming season, promising a "rejuvenated" performance.

He called on fans to continue their support, saying, "The fans should expect a different ball game in the 2024/25 season."

Kano Pillars FC will face Lobi Stars FC next on sunday, with a place in the tournament's quarterfinals at stake.
