SUPER FALCONS SEEK REDEMPTION AGAINST BRAZIL IN 2024 OLYMPICS OPENER

Nigeria's Super Falcons are set to face off against Brazil in their first match of the 2024 Olympics on Thursday, July 25th, at the Bordeaux Stadium in France. The highly anticipated encounter is scheduled to kick off at 6 PM Nigerian time and will be broadcast live on Supersport.

The two teams have a history, having met at the 2008 Olympics, where Brazil emerged victorious with a 3-1 win. This time around, Nigeria will be looking to avenge that loss and start their Olympic journey on a positive note.

The Super Falcons have been preparing intensively for this moment, and coach Randy Waldrum has expressed confidence in his team's ability to take on the mighty Brazilians. With a mix of experienced players and young talent, Nigeria is eager to make a statement in Group C.

Brazil, on the other hand, is a formidable opponent, boasting a strong squad and a rich football history. However, the Super Falcons are determined to cause an upset and make Nigeria proud. Will the Super Falcons secure a historic win, or will Brazil's dominance continue?
