NPFL Clubs Directed to Upgrade and Repair Stadiums Ahead of New Season

The organizers of the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) have issued directives to several clubs to repair and upgrade their stadiums ahead of the upcoming 2024/2025 season. The move is aimed at ensuring that all stadiums meet the required standards for TV broadcasting and to improve the overall quality of the league.

Stadium Repairs

The following clubs have been directed to fix stadium defects:

- Abia Warriors

- Sunshine Stars

- Shooting Stars SC

- Kwara United

Turf Upgrades

The following clubs have been ordered to upgrade their turf or find alternative grounds:

- Niger Tornadoes

- Plateau United

- El-Kanemi Warriors

TV-Friendly Stadiums

The NPFL organizers have appealed to all clubs to make their stadiums TV-friendly, which includes upgrading their facilities to meet the required standards for live broadcasting. This move is expected to improve the overall quality of the league and attract more sponsors.
