 Nigeria's male and female Under-18 national basketball teams arrived in Abidjan last Thursday, ready to battle for glory at the FIBA U18 qualifying tournament, scheduled to take place from July 29 to August 4.

As the world's attention focuses on the Olympic Games in Paris, France, these young Nigerian athletes are gearing up for their own moment in the spotlight. The tournament provides a platform for them to develop their skills, secure crucial wins, and potentially qualify for the bigger competition in South Africa.

The Nigerian teams, comprising talented youngsters, are eager to make their mark and pave the way for future success. Their ultimate goal is to grow into the esteemed D'Tigers and D'Tigress teams, representing Nigeria on the global stage.
