NFCA Kano State Chapter Organizes Capacity-Building Seminar For Coaches

The Nigeria Football Coaches Association (NFCA) Kano State Chapter, in collaboration with the Kano State Football Association, is organizing a two-day modern football coaching seminar. The event, scheduled to take place on 17th and 18th August 2024, aims to equip coaches with the latest techniques and knowledge in the sport.

Renowned resource persons, including Barrister Ibrahim Gwadabe Esq., Abdu Maikaba Fagge, Usman Sharif AbdAllah, Nasiru Ibrahim, Abdulgaffar Oladimeji, Dr. Nura Garba, and Dr. Sani Garba BUK, will lead sessions on various topics such as:

- Modern Football Methods

- Laws of the Game

- Football Marketing and Scouting

- Legal Implications in Football Coaching and Management

- Roles of Media in Coaching

- Roles of Sports Scientists in Football

Gusau/Ahalan 2024 Preseason Cup Kick-Off Date Rescheduled

By Muzammil Dalha Yola  The kick off date of the Nigeria Football Federation President, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau MON tournament tagged Gusau/Ahalan 2024 pre-season, has been shifted by oneweek. The new kick-off date is now set for August 20th, instead of the initially announced August 13th. According to the tournament coordinator, Alhaji Abahurarai Dahiru, the decision to reschedule was made after consultations with stakeholders, who agreed that the recent "End of Bad Government" protests in some parts of the country warranted a postponement. The venue for the tournament remains the New Stadium, Zaria Road, Jos, in Plateau State. Sixteen football teams from the NPFL and NNL have confirmed their participation, and are expected to arrive in Jos on August 19th. The draws will be held on the same day, with the opening match scheduled for August 20th at 4 pm.
