KNSG Pledges Full Support For Newly Formed Kano Pillars FC Board, Work To Begin On Sani Abacha Stadium

The Kano State Government has assured the newly established board of Kano Pillars FC of its unwavering support, as the team prepares for the upcoming Nigeria Premier Football League season.
During a courtesy visit by the board members, led by Chairman Alhaji Ali Na Yara Mai Samba, to the Commissioner of Youths and Sports, Hon. Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso, on Monday, the government's commitment was reaffirmed in a press release by Media and Communications Directorate of Kano Pillars FC.
It stated that, the Commissioner Kwankwaso emphasized that the appointments were made based on merit and encouraged the board to work together to restore the club to its former glory. He also announced that work on the Sani Abacha Stadium's playing surface would commence soon, with completion expected before the start of the 2024/25 season.
The Chairman of the Board, Alhaji Ali Na Yara Mai Samba, expressed gratitude for the government's support and promised that the board would do everything possible to ensure the team's success.
With the government's backing and the board's determination, Kano Pillars FC is poised for a successful season.
