Kano Pillars FC is poised to announce its new Technical Adviser for the upcoming season, sources close to the club have revealed. Over 12 coaches, both local and international, have applied for the coveted position, tasked with restoring the team's former glory after a disappointing 11th-place finish in the 2023/24 season.

Among the top contenders for the hot seat are former Pillars FC French Coach, Emmanuel Soccoia Lionel, Usman Abdallah, Henry Abiodun Makinwa, Paul Offor, Bala Abubakar and Deji Ayeni. The club's management is expected to make an announcement this week, fueling excitement among fans who are eager to see the team return to its winning ways.

With the NPFL 24/25 season set to kick off at the end of August, the new Technical Adviser will have a crucial role in shaping the team's strategy and preparing the players for a successful campaign. Fans are anxiously waiting to see who will be appointed to lead Sai Masu Gida back to its glory days.

Some Kano Pillars FC concerned fans appeals to the management to appoint a highly qualified Technical Adviser, capable of leading the team to success in both domestic and continental competitions. The fans' plea comes as the team aims to secure a continental spot or ticket, which would require a coach who meets CAF's requirements to sit on the bench.

The fans' appeal emphasizes the need for a competent and experienced Technical Adviser, possessing:

- Proven track record in top-tier football management

- In-depth knowledge of modern tactics and strategies

- CAF certification to coach in continental competitions

By hiring a qualified coach, Kano Pillars can bolster its chances in both the NPFL and potential continental competitions, restoring the team's glory days. The club's management is urged to consider the fans' appeal, ensuring the team's success in the upcoming season.
