Kano Pillars FC in Limbo: No New Board Appointed One Week After Dissolution

By Muzammil Dalha Yola

One week has passed since the Kano State Government dissolved the Interim Management Board of Kano Pillars FC, but the club is still without a new board to steer its affairs. With the NPFL 2024/25 season fast approaching, starting on August 31st, 2024, the lack of a new management team may hinder the club's preparations and targets.

The dissolved board's tenure ended abruptly, leaving the team's management in a state of uncertainty. The club's fans and stakeholders are growing concerned about the delay in appointing a new board, which may affect the team's ability to recruit quality players, build cohesion, and have a productive preseason.

Kano Pillars FC's preparations for the upcoming season are at risk of being jeopardized, and the club's chances of performing well may be compromised. The NPFL 2024/25 season is just six weeks away, and the club's lack of direction may lead to a disappointing campaign.

The Kano State Government's swift action in dissolving the previous board has not been followed by equally swift action in appointing a new one, leaving the club in a state of flux. Fans and stakeholders are eagerly waiting for the government to announce a new board to steer Kano Pillars FC back on track.
