In a recent statement released by the team's media officer, Ahmad Hamisu Gwale, captain Salim expressed confidence in his team's ability to secure a victory in the upcoming match on Wednesday.

The match, scheduled to be held on Wednesday, 29th May 2024 at Bwari Stadium, Abuja, will see Barau FC representing the Dutse Centre as the reigning champions. Despite facing challenges, the team has been motivated by the club's management and coaching staff, aiming to secure a promotion to the NNL next season.
