Kano Lawyers League Kicks Off with Excitement and Anticipation

The first edition of the Kano Lawyers League is set to take place on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at the Aztec Sports Complex, 14 Ibrahim Dabo Road, behind Dangi flyover Kano. The league, which is strictly for legal practitioners, promises to be an exciting and competitive tournament that will bring together law firms across Kano.

The tournament, which is a 5-7 aside football competition, will feature teams of lawyers battling it out on the pitch for trophies and glory. The winner will receive a cash prize of ₦200,000, while the runner-up will receive ₦100,000. Other awards include best player, goalkeeper, coach, and team.

The league is organized by the Kano Lawyers League Committee, which includes Hon. Umar Garba Shehu Esq, Aminu Usman Muhammad Esq (Igwe Emeritus), Aminu Kawu Muhammad, and Tajuddin Akanbi Abdullahi Esq. The committee has expressed excitement and anticipation for the tournament, which promises to be a historic moment for Kano's legal community.

The grand night dinner, which will feature VIP awards, red carpet moments, and a special appearance by the Governor of Kano, is expected to be a highlight of the tournament. The dinner will provide an opportunity for participants to mingle and celebrate their love for football and the legal profession.

The tournament is open to law firms across Kano, and teams are expected to register by June 25, 2025. The registration fee is ₦50,000, which includes customized jerseys for the teams. Each team is allowed to have a maximum of 10 players and 2 officials.

The first match of the tournament will take place on July 2, 2025, at 3:00 pm, between AG Chambers and N. J (SAN) Chambers. Other matches will follow, with teams competing fiercely for the top spot.

The Kano Lawyers League promises to be an exciting and competitive tournament that will bring together law firms across Kano. With its grand night dinner, VIP awards, and special appearance by the Governor of Kano, the tournament is expected to be a memorable event for all participants.

NUGA Council Fixes Date for Zone E Preliminaries

Kano Pillars FC Announces Blockbuster Partnership with RFI Hausa

This is a partnership deal worth N100m, a kit sponsorship deal for one season.
