Education Empowerment: Educate A Generation Foundation and Sports Without Borders Set to Storm Nigeria

By Muzammil Dalha Yola

Sports Without Borders, in collaboration with Educate A Generation, has finalized arrangements to bring an education exhibition program to Nigeria, targeting young Nigerians.

The exhibition aims to provide access to quality educational services from top universities in Asia, the USA, Canada, and North Africa for Nigerians, including athletes, coaches, sports officials, and the youth in general.

The founder of Educate A Generation Foundation, Ousman Camara, expressed his delight at the opportunity to advance educational development in Nigeria.

Camara, who could hardly hide his excitement about arriving in Nigeria for the event, said, “We all know about Nigeria's strategic importance and its enviable records in various fields.”

“It is my noble dream to provide the best opportunities to our brothers and sisters in Nigeria. To open doors for the next generation from the most populous African country is a great opportunity that any genuine advocate of human development cannot resist,” Camara stated.

The Executive Director of Sports Without Borders Development Association, Abdulgafar Oladimeji, issued a statement in Kano on Monday, asserting that the planned education exhibition would greatly benefit young Nigerians aspiring to attend some of the world's leading higher education institutions.

He added, “What is particularly exciting is that the Nigerian exhibition program will focus on talented athletes, allowing them to utilize their talents to secure admissions, with the chance to obtain scholarships."

“Our young generation will also have the opportunity to explore how they can pursue their dreams of becoming elite athletes while also achieving their academic aspirations.”

Our correspondent has learned that the education delegation is set to arrive in Nigeria in mid-2025 for the scheduled exhibitions to be hosted in FCT Abuja and Kano.

Further checks revealed that Camara, an alumnus of Georgetown University, Qatar (GU-Q), has devoted himself to the mission of serving humanity.

In 2019, Ousman founded the Educate A Generation Foundation in The Gambia, which serves as an educational consultancy across Africa. He pioneered initiatives like “Kids in Technology,” which aims to integrate digital literacy into African schools.

Camara also designed and launched a Bridge Program at Lamin and Kadie Bah Academy in Sierra Leone. “It’s a deeply personal project inspired by my own transformative experience at the Qatar Foundation’s ABP.”

Educate A Generation Foundation (EAG) is a pioneering nonprofit organization committed to transforming the lives of African youth.
