The 2024 NLO Youth League U19 got underway at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano on Saturday, July 20, 2024, with six thrilling matches on Match Day One.
Sumaila Strikers and Turbo Touch International played out a 2-2 draw, while Tagarji FC suffered a narrow 0-1 defeat to Golden Goal Sports. Dabo Babes and Tahir Babes shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw, and Kano Travellers edged out Mazugal Bees 2-1. Murtala/Barau FC were thrashed 2-5 by AA Zaura Babes, and Kano Ambassadors cruised to a 5-2 victory over Good Hope FC.
The excitement continues on Sunday, July 21, 2024, with three more matches lined up. Matasa FC will face off against Kedco FC, Dantata FC will battle HBR FC, and Shield City FC will clash with Admiral Utd.
