French midfielder Paul Pogba has categorically denied rumours of his retirement from professional football, affirming his commitment to continuing his career despite a four-year doping ban. The former Manchester United player, currently a Juventus player, has been out of action since August 2023, but remains optimistic about his future in the sport.

In an interview with Sky Italy on tuesday, Pogba expressed his determination to return to the field, stating, "I'm still a football player... I want to fight for my career, I'm optimistic." He clarified that he is still a Juventus player, despite the club's silence on his future, and is eager to prove his innocence and get back on the pitch.

Pogba's ban appeal will be heard by the Court of Arbitration for Sport, and he is confident that the truth will prevail. "I trust the process, and I'm working hard to clear my name," he said.

The French international has been training daily, maintaining his physical fitness and skills, and is eager to return to competitive football. "I feel 100% player, I'm still Paul Pogba, and you will see," he assured.

Pogba's determination to continue his career is a testament to his passion for the sport and his commitment to clearing his name. Despite the challenges he faces, he remains optimistic about his future and is determined to prove his innocence and get back to doing what he loves – playing football.

The football world awaits the outcome of Pogba's appeal and hopes for his return to the pitch, where he can continue to showcase his talent and dedication to the sport.
